We introduce Lotka-Volterra and Van Der Pol, equations to examine the rebalancing of the sympathetic and parasympathetic system, via phase resetting of neurological limit cycle attractors to move the fixed-point attractor away from inhibitory neuronal cluster trajectories.

The influence of the fixed-point attractor is affected by the amplitude and coupling strength of neuronal networks, which shifts dynamically during sleep. Stochastic Resonance (SR) noise is an overlooked variable, which has its origins from external natural atmospheric noise. SR affects entropy and detrended fluctuation parameters of Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and can be measured through power spectral density analysis.
